The Nature of the Universe - Literature Review
Walter Russell, The Nature of the Universe
Jerry Gin
For anyone wanting to understand the nature of the universe, reading the books of Walter Russell will give them plenty of critical information. Many of the new writings focus on the nature of matter as toroidal motion in the zero-point energy field; much of such thinking was first reflected in the works of Walter Russell. He was a polymath who was nationally recognized in skating, sculpting, painting, philosophy and writing.
He was shown the nature of the universe, claiming, "I will put it very simply. In May of 1921, God took me up into a high mountain of inspiration and intense ecstasy. A brilliant flash-like lightning severed my bodily sensation from my consciousness and I found myself freed from my body and wholly in the Mind universe of Light, which is God."
Walter Russell states, "That which man calls matter, or substance, has no existence whatsoever. So-called matter is but waves of the motion of light, electrically divided into opposed pairs, then electrically conditioned and patterned into what we call various substances of matter. Briefly put, matter is but the motion of light, and motion is not substance. It only appears to be. Take motion away and there would not be even the appearance of substance."
In his writings, Walter explains the nature of matter, electricity, magnetism, light and consciousness. It is well worth studying Russell's explanation of the causes of everything. Hidden within the explanations are also the meanings of many of the key concepts found in religions, spirituality, and the mystical concepts found in the world's ancient mystery schools.
An excellent biography and a summary of his life and some of his concepts are in Glenn Clark's The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe. After God had shown Walter Russell the nature of the universe, he transcribed the experience in two volumes of The Message of the Divine Iliad. To understand the science, read Russell's The Universal One and In the Wave Lies the Secret of Creation.
Putting the whole story together, Walter Russell and his wife, Lao Russell, created the 12 Units of the Home Course: Universal Law, Natural Science and Living Philosophy: A Home Study Course of The Science of Man. This volume is out of print in bookstores, but special printing can be found on Joey Korn's website:
